San Diego County Construction Management
San Diego County is our home market. Our office is on Ruffin Road in Kearny Mesa, and the majority of our project history is within an hour of it.
We have priced and managed work in the City of San Diego, Carlsbad, Chula Vista, Escondido, Oceanside, Rancho Santa Fe, Poway, Otay Mesa, and the unincorporated county, and we know how each of those jurisdictions behaves.
Thirty years in one county
Local knowledge in construction is not a marketing claim. It is the difference between an estimate that holds and one that does not.
In San Diego County that means knowing which cities have long plan check cycles, which require specific improvement standards, where import material comes from and what the haul costs, how the water and sewer districts inspect, what the Coastal Commission will require within its jurisdiction, and which subcontractors actually have capacity this quarter.
Jurisdictions we work in
City of San Diego, Carlsbad, Chula Vista, Coronado, Del Mar, El Cajon, Encinitas, Escondido, Imperial Beach, La Mesa, Lemon Grove, National City, Oceanside, Poway, San Marcos, Santee, Solana Beach, Vista, and unincorporated San Diego County. We also work with the Port of San Diego, SANDAG, Caltrans District 11, and the county's water and wastewater districts.
Conditions that define San Diego construction
Hillside topography that makes grading the dominant cost on most land development. Coastal jurisdiction that adds a permit layer and seasonal constraints. A border region with its own labor and logistics dynamics. Canyon and habitat constraints that limit development footprints and add mitigation cost. And a persistent shortage of import material sources near the coast that makes haul distance a real budget item.
Projects we have delivered here
Del Dios Highway widening and the Santa Fe Valley Bridge, Bressi Ranch in Carlsbad, the Broadway Pier Cruise Ship Terminal, the North Embarcadero waterfront, Santa Fe Depot, Sunroad Auto Park, San Diego Spectrum, Escala at Mission City, Rancho Cielo Estates, Pacific Coast Business Park, the Olivenhain Municipal Water District pump station project, and the Calpine Otay Mesa generating plant.

Questions about this work
Where is your office?
3645 Ruffin Road, Suite 101, in the Kearny Mesa area of San Diego, near the intersection of Highway 163 and Clairemont Mesa Boulevard. It is central to the county and convenient to most of our project sites.
Do you work in North County and South Bay?
Yes, throughout the county. We have delivered projects in Carlsbad, Encinitas, Olivenhain, Rancho Santa Fe, and Escondido to the north, and Chula Vista and Otay Mesa to the south.
Do you handle Coastal Commission projects?
Yes. We have managed work at the San Diego waterfront requiring coastal and port district approval. Coastal review belongs on the critical path from the start, and treating it as an administrative formality is a common and costly mistake.
