Build a career on projects that matter
We are a small firm working on large projects, which means the people we hire get exposure to the whole job rather than one corner of it. If you want to see a project from feasibility through exoneration, this is a good place to do it.
What it is like to work here
Our teams are lean. A project engineer here will run submittals, walk the site, take off quantities, sit in the owner meeting, and help draft the monthly report. That is a lot of responsibility early, and it is the fastest way we know to build real construction judgment.
We work primarily on heavy civil, infrastructure, public works, and land development projects across Southern California. The technical center of gravity is earthwork, utilities, grading, and agency coordination.
Roles we hire for
- Project Manager and Senior Project Manager, construction management
- Project Engineer and Field Engineer
- Construction Estimator, heavy civil and site development
- Scheduler, CPM and Primavera P6
- Construction Inspector, public works and prevailing wage projects
- Owner's Representative, development and institutional projects
- Cost and Contract Administrator
What we look for
Field time matters more to us than a specific degree. We hire people who can read a set of plans, ask the uncomfortable question in a meeting, write clearly, and hold a position without being difficult about it. California experience with local agencies is a meaningful advantage.
How to apply
Use the contact form and select Careers and employment. Tell us which role you are interested in, and include a short note about a project you worked on and what went wrong on it. We find that more informative than a list of responsibilities. We will reply with an address to send your resume to.
Why people stay
- Direct client contact from your first project
- Exposure to the full project lifecycle rather than one phase
- Heavy civil and infrastructure work with real technical depth
- Small team, short decision path, no layers of approval
- Southern California based work with limited travel
- Mentorship from people who have carried contractor risk
We are always interested in strong people
Even when nothing is posted, send us your resume. Our hiring tends to follow project awards, and awards are hard to predict.
Send us the project
