The Lakes
and Streams project involves preparation of a Preliminary Design
Report to investigate the feasibility of a large urban reservoir
in the City of San Bernardino. The scope of work contemplates a
20 year construction schedule with an emphasis on a major water
works facility. The project is the focal point of a potential revitalization
program in San Bernardino.
J.T. Kruer & Company plays an integral role with the Preliminary
Design Report development team particularly by integrating the lake
construction with the general engineering aspects of the project.
Due diligence for the report includes a geotechnical investigation
of liquefaction, identification of potential ground water contaminants,
existing earthwork stratum and ground water conditions.
J.T. Kruer & Company provides assistance in developing the
team delivery schedule which includes 12 months of document preparation
and preliminary construction cost analysis. The schedule is based
on conceptual designs and field quantity verifications, earthwork,
major wet and dry utility installation and existing facility demolition
and disposal. |
