Palomar Forum is a major business park in development, at the intersection of Palomar Airport Road and Melrose Drive.

J. T. Kruer & Company’s responsibility for the project was the widening and median island construction for Palomar Airport Road. The work is being performed as a Community Facilities District (CFD) for the City of Carlsbad. A close coordination effort with the onsite land development and site improvements is also an essential responsibility in the successful completion of the entire project.

The project involves roadway excavation, mainline SDG&E facilities, traffic signalization, asphalt / concrete surface improvements, medial island enhancements and traffic control along this busy corridor.

J. T. Kruer & company coordinates and manages all of the city of Carlsbad CFD work for the roadway construction. Essential to this process was the essential process of reviewing all issues with the City of Carlsbad to insure the project’s eligibility under the CFD.
