AGTEK Take-Offs

J.T. Kruer & Company uses AGTEK, a multi-functional sitework software tool with superior graphics capabilities to provide clients with comprehensive feasibility studies and costing information. We use AGTEK to compute earthwork quantities for industrial, commercial and environmental sites, such as shopping centers, subdivisions, golf courses and other mass excavation projects. AGTEK serves as a valuable tool in the preparation of quick and efficient take-offs. We can review earthwork specifications either from grading plans or by reading an engineer’s CAD files via the AutoCAD system and AutoCAD Interface module features. The system significantly minimizes take-off preparation time by providing a direct interface for the engineering CAD file.

AGTEK enables J.T. Kruer & Company to optimize complex earthmoving jobs and analyze and resolve issues that may arise between developer clients and contractors with clear, concise graphics and charts. We make use of the three dimensional view, cross sections and color-shading capabilities of the software and preparation of cut/fill maps. Using AGTEK’s Sitework Balance component, cut/fill maps can be grouped into smaller areas outlined with boundaries, slopes, and haul lengths for presentation and discussion purposes. The cut/fill detail maps are also valuable in settling quantity discrepancies or streamlining mass grading operations even before the first cubic yard of material is moved.
